Tiger Woods has teed off at the Masters.

Woods, the five-time Masters champion, is embarking on his first professional round of golf since Nov. 2020 — Woods teed off at 11:04 a.m and is even through his first eight holes.

The golf legend injured his leg in a major car accident in February 2021 that Woods said almost led to an amputation, and has not competed since.

According to the oddsmakers, Woods is far from a favorite for the 2022 Masters, but that has not stopped people from betting on Woods. On DraftKings

sportsbook, Woods was by far the most-bet-on golfer to win the tournament.

Jon Rahm, the no. 2 golfer in the world rankings, was the betting favorite to win the tournament heading into Thursday.

What’s even more interesting, Tiger is the most popular golfer that people are betting to win, but he’s also the most bet-on golfer to miss the cut at the tournament.

Prior to the Masters, Woods seemed optimistic about his first tournament back.

“You know, 72 holes is a long road, and it’s going to be a tough challenge and a challenge that I’m up for,” Woods said.
