Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 2.48%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 2.48% to hit a new 52-week low.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270), which rose 9.61% or 1.46 points to trade at 16.66 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) added 3.95% or 0.52 points to end at 13.70 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (TADAWUL:4270) was up 2.00% or 0.38 points to 19.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170), which fell 5.37% or 1.30 points to trade at 22.90 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8260) declined 5.12% or 0.37 points to end at 6.85 and Al Rajhi Bank (TADAWUL:1120) was down 4.88% or 3.80 points to 74.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 61 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8260) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.12% or 0.37 to 6.85. Shares in Al Rajhi Bank (TADAWUL:1120) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.88% or 3.80 to 74.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.18% or 0.13 to $74.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $79.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 6.95 to trade at $1,789.35 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.65% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 104.94.
