Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.50%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.50%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270), which rose 10.00% or 2.45 points to trade at 26.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) added 9.92% or 5.10 points to end at 56.50 and Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) was up 9.90% or 6.10 points to 67.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which fell 5.48% or 6.00 points to trade at 103.40 at the close. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) declined 4.66% or 0.76 points to end at 15.56 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was down 2.96% or 2.00 points to 65.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 125 to 69 and 10 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) rose to 3-years highs; up 10.00% or 2.45 to 26.95. Shares in Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.92% or 5.10 to 56.50. Shares in Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) rose to all time highs; rising 9.90% or 6.10 to 67.70.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.26% or 0.11 to $41.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.07% or 0.03 to hit $44.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 17.70 to trade at $1856.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.22% to 4.4348, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 92.638.
