Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.30%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.30%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.94% or 1.88 points to trade at 20.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) added 6.82% or 2.70 points to end at 42.30 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) was up 6.18% or 3.20 points to 55.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010), which fell 3.04% or 2.90 points to trade at 92.60 at the close. Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) declined 2.26% or 8.60 points to end at 372.40 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) was down 1.89% or 1.10 points to 57.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 184 to 63 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.94% or 1.88 to 20.80.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.16% or 1.69 to $79.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.47% or 1.25 to hit $86.00 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.21% or 22.30 to trade at $1,862.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 104.49.
