Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.08%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.08%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164), which rose 6.75% or 11.80 points to trade at 186.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) added 6.39% or 2.00 points to end at 33.30 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was up 6.25% or 8.20 points to 139.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:4040), which fell 4.00% or 0.72 points to trade at 17.26 at the close. Saudi Basic Industries Corp (TADAWUL:2010) declined 3.70% or 3.40 points to end at 88.50 and Al Hammadi Co (TADAWUL:4007) was down 2.76% or 1.35 points to 47.65.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 170 to 79 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.66% or 2.01 to $77.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.19% or 1.80 to hit $83.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 4.90 to trade at $1,820.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 104.49.
