: Pet fees, late fees, administrative fees and even a mysterious ‘January fee’: These are the junk costs renters face, new report says

Renters are being charged all sorts of extra fees for having roommates, keeping pets, signing a lease with a low credit score, paying rent with a check, paying rent too late and more, attorneys told the National Consumer Law Center in a survey at the end of last year.
