Meta Platforms announced earnings per share of $3.67 on revenue of $33.67B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $3.85 on revenue of $33.34B.

Meta Platforms shares are down 4% from the beginning of the year, still down 15.96% from its 52 week high of $384.33 set on September 1, 2021. They are broadly in line with the S&P 500 which is down 3.71% from the start of the year.

Comcast had beat expectations on January 27 with fourth quarter EPS of $0.77 on revenue of $30.34B, compared to forecast for EPS of $0.7301 on revenue of $29.62B.
