Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.99%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.99%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 8.13% or 54.00 points to trade at 718.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) added 5.80% or 212.00 points to end at 3,865.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 5.33% or 161.00 points to 3,180.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 0.66% or 7.00 points to trade at 1,050.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 0.06% or 3.00 points to end at 5,371.00 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 0.18% or 140.00 points to 76,340.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 321 to 122 and 35 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.52% or 2.44 to $71.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 3.08% or 2.30 to hit $76.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 25.80 to trade at $1,975.90 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS rose 0.48% to 3.88.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 102.55.
