Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.08%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.08%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 6.56% or 332.00 points to trade at 5,392.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 5.00% or 42.30 points to end at 888.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 4.45% or 260.00 points to 6,100.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 8.00% or 266.00 points to trade at 3,059.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 2.32% or 360.00 points to end at 15,170.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 1.82% or 47.00 points to 2,542.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 320 to 149 and 34 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.85% or 0.63 to $73.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.66% or 0.51 to hit $76.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 10.20 to trade at $2,032.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.43% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 4.00.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 101.30.
