Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.04%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 3.74% or 1170 points to trade at 32420 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 3.56% or 67 points to end at 1947 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 1.66% or 1450 points to 88750 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.60% or 86 points to trade at 3219 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 1.97% or 59 points to end at 2941 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.72% or 116 points to 6610.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 231 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.74% or 1.20 to $67.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.39% or 0.99 to hit $70.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.51% or 45.40 to trade at $1763.50 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.2258, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 3.7942.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 92.780.
