Dear Ms. MoneyPeace,

I am 60 years old and thinking about retirement in the coming years. I decided to start considering what I will have for income after I retire. I first reached out to my old employer where I worked long enough to get a monthly pension. I could not believe it. I worked there for almost 25 years and will get a pension. However, because I am single, I will not be able to leave it to anyone. This makes no sense to me. Not to mention it is so unfair. Is there anything I can do about this injustice?
