Fisker Inc (NYSE:FSR) CEO, Heinrik Fisker, shared today that crash testing for the Fisker Ocean has been completed. The CEO went on to say that the result would not get published until final certification in November.
The results will be published by NHTSA and IIHS later this year. However, Fisker did share some information on the testing saying, “schhh 5 star”, meaning that the Fisker Ocean received a 5-star overall safety rating. This is the highest rating that can be achieved in any crash category.
The target start date for production of the Ocean is November 17th. Pre-orders for Fisker Ocean One open on Friday.
