Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.15%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.15%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.37% or 14.20 points to trade at 1,049.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.10% or 28.00 points to end at 2,578.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.08% or 11.00 points to 1,028.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.39% or 6.62 points to trade at 188.40 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 3.35% or 19.00 points to end at 547.50 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 3.01% or 14.60 points to 469.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 56 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; up 1.37% or 14.20 to 1,049.00. Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 3-years lows; down 3.35% or 19.00 to 547.50. Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.08% or 11.00 to 1,028.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.82% or 1.27 to $68.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.88% or 1.43 to hit $74.48 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 8.50 to trade at $1,987.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.76% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 102.82.
