were trading higher in Wednesday’s after-hours market, following news the company will join the S&P SmallCap 600 on Feb. 1.

Hostess will be replacing Watts Water Technologies Inc.

which is moving to the S&P MidCap 400 on that day.

At 5:49 p.m. EST, shares of Hostess Brands were trading 9.26% higher at $21 per share.

The stock finished the day’s regular-trading session with a 0.16% loss at $19.22 a share.

On Jan. 5, the stock touched a 52-week high of $20.80 per share.
