Dow futures trade steady, Oracle sheds 8.7% after-hours

By 6:30pm ET (10:30pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures were flat while S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures lost 0.1% apiece.

In extended deals, Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) lost 8.7% after the company reported Q1 EPS of $1.19 versus $1.15 expected on revenues of $12.5 billion versus $12.44 billion expected.

Ahead in Tuesday’s trade, investors will be monitoring NFIB small business optimism, as well as the Fed’s Redbook and budget balance.

During Monday’s session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 87.1 points or 0.3% to 34,663.7, the S&P 500 gained 30 points or 0.7% to 4,487.5 and the NASDAQ Composite lifted 156.4 points or 1.1% to 13,917.9.

On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 4.289%.
