Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.66%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.66%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.95% or 4.22 points to trade at 89.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 3.84% or 13.80 points to end at 373.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 3.77% or 19.60 points to 539.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 3.44% or 690.00 points to trade at 19,350.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.92% or 570.00 points to end at 18,960.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.75% or 13.30 points to 747.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 60 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 5.63% or 5.62 to $105.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 4.93% or 5.05 to hit $107.51 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 11.39 to trade at $1,852.39 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 103.69.
