Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.73%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.73% to hit a new 52-week low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 0.08% or 0.60 points to trade at 764.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell 0.53% or 4.00 points to end at 756.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.97% or 0.64 points to 65.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 7.66% or 11.15 points to trade at 134.40 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 6.02% or 22.90 points to end at 357.30 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 5.75% or 790.00 points to 12,950.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 119 to 32 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; down 7.66% or 11.15 to 134.40. Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.02% or 22.90 to 357.30. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.75% or 790.00 to 12,950.00.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.21% or 0.17 to $81.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.47% or 0.41 to hit $87.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.75 to trade at $1,667.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 7.60, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 112.27.
