Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.21%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.21%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 1.68% or 4.3 points to trade at 259.9 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 1.40% or 1.95 points to end at 141.40 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.48% or 2.8 points to 588.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 3.50% or 28.0 points to trade at 772.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.94% or 5.7 points to end at 186.4 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.72% or 13.0 points to 465.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.41% or 1.58 to $67.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.53% or 1.73 to hit $70.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.55 to trade at $1808.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.3299, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4370.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 92.945.
