Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.82%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.82%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 2.39% or 12.20 points to trade at 523.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.13% or 3.05 points to end at 146.10 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.32% or 12.40 points to 948.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 4.58% or 9.19 points to trade at 191.60 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.85% or 14.40 points to end at 490.00 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) was down 2.41% or 5.40 points to 219.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 75 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 2.13% or 3.05 to 146.10.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.46% or 3.43 to $73.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 4.45% or 3.65 to hit $78.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 18.40 to trade at $1,864.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.52% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 104.01.
