Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.31%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.31%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 10.52% or 22.40 points to trade at 235.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 5.77% or 49.00 points to end at 898.20 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 3.43% or 68.00 points to 2,050.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 7.95% or 34.70 points to trade at 401.70 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 7.55% or 76.00 points to end at 930.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 5.52% or 27.10 points to 464.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 81 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 6.94% or 8.29 to $127.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 7.11% or 8.76 to hit $131.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 3.59% or 71.60 to trade at $2,067.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 99.21.
