Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.85%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.85%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 2.53% or 57.0 points to trade at 2309.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 2.12% or 16.5 points to end at 793.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 1.68% or 3.2 points to 196.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 0.99% or 1.1 points to trade at 104.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 0.63% or 7.5 points to end at 1186.0 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 0.64% or 1.4 points to 215.9.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 61 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.29% or 0.59 to $45.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.32% or 0.64 to hit $47.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.55 to trade at $1807.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.2550, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4431.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 92.118.
