Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.83%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.83% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.97% or 4.9 points to trade at 169.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 2.36% or 4.8 points to end at 208.6 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.33% or 20.00 points to 880.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 5.18% or 125.0 points to trade at 2289.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.10% or 7.6 points to end at 685.2 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.81% or 5 points to 639.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 58 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.38% or 0.15 to $39.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.29% or 0.12 to hit $41.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.14% or 40.90 to trade at $1866.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.3722, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4430.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 94.235.
