Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.79%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.79%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 4.00% or 81.00 points to trade at 2,105.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.57% or 430.00 points to end at 17,190.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.53% or 430.00 points to 17,395.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 1.14% or 6.80 points to trade at 588.00 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 0.56% or 2.60 points to end at 465.50 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was down 0.48% or 1.80 points to 370.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 63 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.09% or 1.18 to $109.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.37% or 0.42 to hit $114.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.55 to trade at $1,842.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 7.04, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 103.96.
