Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.75%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.75%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 7.98% or 5.78 points to trade at 78.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 5.38% or 139.00 points to end at 2,722.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 3.70% or 9.90 points to 277.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 15.83% or 66.20 points to trade at 352.00 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 7.72% or 65.80 points to end at 786.20 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 0.29% or 60.00 points to 20,680.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 74 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.57% or 1.44 to $93.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.47% or 1.43 to hit $98.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 9.25 to trade at $1,804.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 7.20, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 104.88.
