Cohen & Steers Inc. ‘s holding in Healthcare Trust of America Inc increased to about 23 million shares with the purchase.
Cohen & Steers Inc. first bought Healthcare Trust of America Inc stock in the first quarter of 2013. Cohen & Steers Inc. also owns VICI Properties Inc (NYSE:VICI), Invitation Homes Inc (NYSE:INVH), Hudson Pacific Properties Inc (NYSE:HPP) and QTS Realty Trust Inc (NYSE:QTS). Healthcare Trust of America Inc is its number three position by number of shares and market value among real estate management & development stocks.
Other investors who also added to their Healthcare Trust of America Inc shares include California State Teachers Retirement System, Citigroup (NYSE:C), and Fort Washington Investment Advisors. In contrast, the T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund, Centersquare Investment Management, and Personal Wealth Partners reduced HTA shares.
Cohen & Steers Inc. also reduced their share in Agree Realty Corp (NYSE:ADC) and Kilroy Realty Corp (NYSE:KRC). The total value of the shares sold is estimated at around $347 million.
In addition, Cohen & Steers Inc. increased their share in Healthpeak Properties Inc (NYSE:PEAK), VEREIT Inc (NYSE:VER) and CyrusOne Inc (NASDAQ:CONE). The total value of the shares bought is estimated at around $2.3 billion.
