Cohen & Steers Inc. ‘s holding in VEREIT Inc increased to about 37 million shares with the purchase.
Cohen & Steers Inc. first bought VEREIT Inc stock in the first quarter of 2018. Cohen & Steers Inc. also owns Public Storage (NYSE:PSA), Simon Property Group Inc (NYSE:SPG), Healthpeak Properties Inc (NYSE:PEAK) and Welltower Inc (NYSE:WELL). VEREIT Inc is its number six position by number of shares and market value among real estate investment trusts stocks.
Other investors who also added to their VEREIT Inc shares include Citigroup (NYSE:C), Centersquare Investment Management, and BT Investment Management. In contrast, California State Teachers Retirement System, Millennium Management, and the T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund reduced VER shares, while Gotham Asset Management sold all their VER shares.
Cohen & Steers Inc. has also recently reduced their share in Agree Realty Corp (NYSE:ADC) and Kilroy Realty Corp (NYSE:KRC). The total value of the shares sold is estimated at around $347 million.
Additionally, Cohen & Steers Inc. added to their share in Healthpeak Properties Inc. The total value of the shares bought is estimated at around $841 million.
Cohen & Steers Inc. also increased their share in Healthcare Trust of America Inc (HTA) and CyrusOne Inc (NASDAQ:CONE). The total value of the shares bought is estimated at around $1.3 billion.
