The Wall Street lender told employees a replacement for Norton, who joined the bank in 2018, will be named in the coming weeks, according to the report.

“Strengthening our risk and control infrastructure is our top priority, and Mandy has been central to that effort,” Chief Executive Officer Charlie Scharf wrote in the memo, the report said.

Norton had joined Wells Fargo from rival JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM).
