On Wednesday, Twitter suspended the account that tracks the location of its owner Elon Musk’s jet, @ElonJet.

The account was run by Florida college student Jack Sweeney and had accumulated more than half a million followers. Sweeney, a Florida college student, started the account in June 2020, setting it up to track the jet’s location using publicly available flight data.

Sweeney tweeted from his own account on Wednesday: “Well it appears @ElonJet is suspended.”

He told people to follow him on other social media platforms. In addition, Sweeney said another account he set up tracking employee jets at SpaceX was also suspended before Sweeney’s own Twitter account was suspended.

Shortly before, he tweeted: “This is coordinated and Elon is well aware I’m sure.”
