Ghislaine Maxwell — Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime associate accused of recruiting young girls for his sex-trafficking ring — has been arrested, sources reportedly told the New York Post.

The British socialite, 58, was taken into custody in New Hampshire around 8:30 a.m. Thursday on charges related to Epstein, sources said. She is expected to appear later Thursday in Manhattan federal court.

While Epstein died in August while locked up in Manhattan on federal sex-trafficking charges, reportedly in a suicide, prosecutors continued investigating his alleged crimes, leaving open the possibility that his associates could be arrested.

Maxwell, the daughter of media mogul Robert Maxwell, has long been accused of grooming young girls to have sex with Epstein and an inner circle of famous and powerful associates.

One of the most vocal Epstein victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, accused Maxwell of recruiting her as a teen in a 2015 defamation suit that has since been settled.
