Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.04%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.04% to hit a new 52-week low.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281), which rose 5.94% or 5.80 points to trade at 103.40 at the close. Meanwhile, The National Shipping Co. (TADAWUL:4030) added 3.54% or 0.95 points to end at 27.75 and Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:4220) was up 3.34% or 0.27 points to 8.35 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170), which fell 9.95% or 2.24 points to trade at 20.28 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) declined 9.93% or 9.40 points to end at 85.30 and Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:6020) was down 9.13% or 1.56 points to 15.52.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 67 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.95% or 2.24 to 20.28. Shares in Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:6020) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.13% or 1.56 to 15.52.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.80% or 0.57 to $71.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $76.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 11.55 to trade at $1,799.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.40% to 3.97, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 104.39.
