Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 2.00%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 2.00%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211), which rose 9.91% or 11.00 points to trade at 122.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) added 9.88% or 3.80 points to end at 42.25 and Saudi Aramco (SE:2222) was up 5.81% or 2.25 points to 41.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110), which fell 9.92% or 3.05 points to trade at 27.70 at the close. Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) declined 2.30% or 2.40 points to end at 102.00 and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (SE:8060) was down 2.22% or 0.38 points to 16.70.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 156 to 68 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.88% or 3.80 to 42.25. Shares in Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (SE:8060) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.22% or 0.38 to 16.70.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.38% or 0.37 to $96.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.06% or 0.06 to hit $99.85 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 17.95 to trade at $1,911.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.64% to 4.13, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 98.43.
