Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.96%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.96% to hit a new 5-year high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which rose 7.76% or 1.34 points to trade at 18.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) added 5.50% or 10.00 points to end at 191.80 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) was up 4.06% or 1.30 points to 33.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 2.51% or 0.85 points to trade at 33.05 at the close. Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) declined 2.46% or 2.80 points to end at 111.00 and Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (SE:1111) was down 2.39% or 3.40 points to 139.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 140 to 65 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.13% or 0.92 to $82.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.65% or 0.54 to hit $84.26 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.50 to trade at $1820.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.30% to 4.2785, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7535.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 95.350.
