Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.51%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.51%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 6.25% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.17 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) added 4.84% or 1.50 points to end at 32.50 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 3.83% or 1.25 points to 33.85 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:6015), which fell 4.59% or 0.20 points to trade at 4.16 at the close. Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) declined 3.76% or 1.05 points to end at 26.85 and SICO Saudi REIT Fund Unit (TADAWUL:4337) was down 3.49% or 0.19 points to 5.25.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 179 to 95 and 9 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.83% or 1.25 to 33.85. Shares in SICO Saudi REIT Fund Unit (TADAWUL:4337) fell to all time lows; losing 3.49% or 0.19 to 5.25.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.66% or 1.32 to $80.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.39% or 1.16 to hit $84.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 2.65 to trade at $1,925.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.28% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 103.17.
