Now that Kamala Harris is finally settled in at the vice president’s official residence on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory, she is pocketing nearly $2 million for the sale of her Washington, DC, condo.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at a swanky West End complex in the nation’s capital sold for $1.85 million, according to a public records review by the Wall Street Journal. That was a little under her original asking price of $1,995,000 when the property went on the market in April.

The 1,731-square-foot home features luxe amenities such as oak hardwood floors, a bathroom equipped with a bidet and teak shower floor plus custom Italian cabinetry, and a drool-worthy, walk-in pantry.

The Westlight complex features a 24/7 concierge service, dog-washing station, and terrace where residents can grill meals. The heated, rooftop pool isn’t too shabby either. The unit comes with two parking spaces and additional storage space.

The vice president made about a 4.2% profit on the property, which she and her husband, entertainment attorney Douglas Emhoff, purchased for  $1,775,000 in 2017. That was the year she became a U.S. senator and needed a place to live in DC.

Harris made a much larger profit on the sale of her 1,100-square-foot, one-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom condo in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood. The condo sold for $860,000 in March—a nearly 76% increase from the $489,000 she paid for it in 2004.

Harris and Emhoff currently live in the newly renovated, 9,000-square-foot, six-bedroom vice president’s residence at 1 Observatory Circle. The couple moved in in April after extensive work was completed.

She and Emhoff kept their 3,500-square-foot home in the upscale Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Her husband bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom residence with a pool for $2.7 million in 2012.
