Realtor.com: John Corbett’s Bachelor-Friendly West Hollywood Condo Is Listed for $1.3M

The actor John Corbett is breaking up with his condo in the L.A. neighborhood of West Hollywood. The stylish space is available for $1,311,600.

The seventh-floor unit in the coveted Empire West tower near the Sunset Strip appears not to have been on the market since it was listed in 1998 for $500,000.

Corbett’s longtime living space was designed by Tumbleweed & Dandelion. It leans into its fabled locale, with touches of Old Hollywood mementos mixed in with a “splash of Vegas poker nights,” as the listing notes.

And there’s a reason for the party-life flair.

“The condo is extremely unique,” says the listing agent, Justin Alexander of Compass. “It’s mostly in the same condition it was in when he bought it decades ago from a local nightlife scenester. There are a few hidden compartments for a private safe and secret doors, as well as a custom chest of exotic woods that create the grand entryway to the primary bathroom suite.”

As for a big reason behind the sale? He’s just not into his solo digs right now.

“John has settled nicely into a home with his partner, Bo Derek, and no longer needs his Sunset Strip bachelor pad,” the agent says.

He leaves behind a place with a lot of look. With one bedroom, and two bathrooms, the 1,600-square-foot layout boasts a south-facing view of the Los Angeles Basin, with vistas of city lights at night.

To us, the vibe is très Parisian boudoir. The formal entry hall sets the stage, graced with artwork and movie poster memorabilia, and moody interiors feature black tile flooring, gilt moldings, and mirrored walls, which carry throughout the place.

The living space sports a swanky dark wood and marble bar, and offers multiple seating areas, as well as a poker table.

There’s ample room for Corbett’s grand piano, and the living room spills out to a light and bright deck with seating and views of the L.A. cityscape.

A separate dining room incorporates a round table. A compact kitchen features modern appliances and plenty of counter space to cook.

The en suite bedroom features built-ins for books and curios, and the bathroom opens from double doors into a space with dual sinks, dark wood, and a glassed shower, as well as a custom closet. A family room and office can also be found in the unit.

The current interior design choices may not be to everyone’s taste. Indeed, the listing details acknowledge “this celebrity-owned residence is the perfect landscape to put your own modern touch on a timeless high-rise unit.”

Corbett’s unit also comes with two parking spaces and offers loads of amenities for residents, including 24-hour valet parking, concierge, an updated gym, a tennis court, and a new rooftop deck and swimming pool with views of L.A.

It is only a short walk to the restaurants, shopping, and hot spots of West Hollywood.

Corbett’s roles have spanned decades, and include beloved TV shows such as “Northern Exposure” and “Parenthood,” as well as “Sex and the City.” He also appeared in the “Sex and the City 2” movie.

Corbett, 60, teased his fans that he may be showing up in the HBO reboot, “And Just Like That.” He is also known for his roles in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and more recently in the Netflix trilogy “To All the Boys.”
