Pfizer Earnings Beat, Revenue Misses In Q3

Pfizer announced earnings per share of $0.72 on revenue of $12.13B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.69 on revenue of $12.31B.

Pfizer shares are down 3% from the beginning of the year, still down 7.44% from its 52 week high of $40.97 set on January 24. They are under-performing the S&P Global (NYSE:SPGI) 100 which is up 4.45% from the start of the year.

Pfizer’s report follows an earnings beat by J&J on October 13, who reported EPS of $2.2 on revenue of $21.08B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.98 on revenue of $20.2B.

Novartis ADR had beat expectations on Tuesday with third quarter EPS of $1.52 on revenue of $12.26B, compared to forecast for EPS of $1.44 on revenue of $12.6B.
