Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 3.10%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 3.10%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 2.03% or 300.00 points to trade at 15,080.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) fell 0.16% or 5.00 points to end at 3,127.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 0.50% or 320.00 points to 63,780.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which fell 7.57% or 252.00 points to trade at 3,075.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 6.03% or 205.00 points to end at 3,195.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 5.72% or 58.00 points to 956.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 395 to 50 and 35 ended unchanged.

Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) fell to 5-year lows; losing 7.57% or 252.00 to 3,075.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.27% or 0.96 to $76.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.29% or 1.05 to hit $82.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.08% or 38.10 to trade at $1,872.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS rose 0.74% to 3.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 104.15.
