Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.65%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.65%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 2.22% or 720.00 points to trade at 33,220.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.14% or 310.00 points to end at 14,800.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.29% or 46.00 points to 3,616.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 6.00% or 61.10 points to trade at 957.00 at the close. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) declined 5.84% or 356.00 points to end at 5,743.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was down 5.59% or 1,800.00 points to 30,390.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 383 to 92 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.00% or 61.10 to 957.00. Shares in Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.84% or 356.00 to 5,743.00. Shares in Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.59% or 1,800.00 to 30,390.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.14% or 0.11 to $76.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.33% or 1.12 to hit $82.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 8.15 to trade at $1,842.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 1.71% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS rose 1.50% to 3.88.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 104.07.
