Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.23%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.23%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 1.02% or 300.00 points to trade at 29,700.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 0.75% or 480.00 points to end at 64,730.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 0.65% or 32.00 points to 4,918.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 4.41% or 1,070.00 points to trade at 23,200.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 2.79% or 50.00 points to end at 1,744.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 2.74% or 95.00 points to 3,370.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 229 and 71 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.96% or 0.82 to $84.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.96% or 0.87 to hit $89.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 8.20 to trade at $2,365.90 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.29% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS fell 0.49% to 3.99.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 106.00.
