Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.99%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.99%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which rose 3.73% or 334.00 points to trade at 9,298.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 2.25% or 27.00 points to end at 1,227.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 1.59% or 59.00 points to 3,764.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 10.43% or 8,440.00 points to trade at 72,500.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 2.11% or 1,640.00 points to end at 76,050.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 2.06% or 62.00 points to 2,946.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 255 to 194 and 38 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.79% or 1.42 to $80.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.34% or 1.12 to hit $84.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 7.95 to trade at $1,920.35 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.79, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 4.12.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 103.21.
