Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.98%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.98%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 1.28% or 50.00 points to trade at 3,970.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 1.10% or 340.00 points to end at 31,170.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 0.78% or 230.00 points to 29,680.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.53% or 27.60 points to trade at 472.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 3.10% or 1,420.00 points to end at 44,400.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 2.36% or 94.00 points to 3,886.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 367 to 106 and 37 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.53% or 27.60 to 472.00. Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.36% or 94.00 to 3,886.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.38% or 2.60 to $74.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.68% or 3.04 to hit $79.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.25 to trade at $1,783.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.52% to 3.42, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 3.58.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 105.31.
