Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.85%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.85%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 3.37% or 27.70 points to trade at 850.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) added 2.63% or 103.00 points to end at 4,024.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 2.45% or 1,000.00 points to 41,850.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 7.79% or 211.00 points to trade at 2,498.00 at the close. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) declined 5.75% or 350.00 points to end at 5,737.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 5.34% or 800.00 points to 14,190.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 305 to 159 and 34 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.79% or 211.00 to 2,498.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.26% or 0.92 to $73.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.09% or 0.84 to hit $77.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 15.15 to trade at $1,959.35 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.71% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.00.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 103.82.
