Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.71%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.71%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 4.01% or 95.00 points to trade at 2,462.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.02% or 103.00 points to end at 5,209.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 1.97% or 400.00 points to 20,700.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 5.81% or 1,860.00 points to trade at 30,130.00 at the close. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 5.58% or 4,370.00 points to end at 73,980.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 3.80% or 35.00 points to 885.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 293 to 169 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.80% or 35.00 to 885.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.89% or 1.40 to $75.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.92% or 1.55 to hit $82.15 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 12.95 to trade at $1,828.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.20% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.02% to 3.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.69.
