Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.71%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.71%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 1.41% or 43.00 points to trade at 3,085.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 1.27% or 37.00 points to end at 2,945.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 0.85% or 5.40 points to 638.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 5.09% or 2,950.00 points to trade at 55,050.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 4.93% or 62.00 points to end at 1,196.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 3.60% or 148.00 points to 3,960.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 327 to 157 and 29 ended unchanged.

Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.60% or 148.00 to 3,960.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.30% or 0.28 to $92.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.21% or 0.21 to hit $98.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 3.80 to trade at $1,680.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.02% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS rose 0.66% to 3.56.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.66% at 110.04.
