Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.36%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 2.16% or 1,460.00 points to trade at 69,040.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 1.94% or 76.00 points to end at 4,000.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was up 1.67% or 46.00 points to 2,806.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 3.21% or 38.00 points to trade at 1,147.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 2.79% or 33.00 points to end at 1,150.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was down 2.29% or 200.00 points to 8,550.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 323 to 165 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.21% or 38.00 to 1,147.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.84% or 2.02 to $73.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.23% or 1.70 to hit $77.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 17.15 to trade at $1,793.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.43, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.12% to 3.61.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 104.69.
