Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.33%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 3.63% or 6,100.00 points to trade at 174,100.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.50% or 119.00 points to end at 3,520.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.19% or 770.00 points to 35,950.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 7.19% or 300.00 points to trade at 3,870.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) declined 3.68% or 550.00 points to end at 14,400.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 2.23% or 35.00 points to 1,538.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 233 and 43 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.94% or 0.89 to $94.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.62% or 0.63 to hit $100.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 7.65 to trade at $1,769.15 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.02% to 3.27, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.04% to 3.26.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 108.54.
