Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.21%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 2.97% or 71 points to trade at 2459 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 1.64% or 42 points to end at 2599 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 1.61% or 520 points to 32740 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 2.48% or 30 points to trade at 1181 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 2.32% or 460 points to end at 19410 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 2.30% or 45 points to 1914.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 292 to 184 and 27 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.13% or 1.60 to $73.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.76% or 1.35 to hit $75.14 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 12.50 to trade at $1822.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.60% to 3.2642, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.8621.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 92.382.
