Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.16%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI), which rose 1.72% or 55.00 points to trade at 3,245.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) added 1.55% or 29.00 points to end at 1,900.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 1.48% or 7.70 points to 526.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 3.38% or 3,720.00 points to trade at 106,430.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 2.70% or 64.00 points to end at 2,309.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was down 2.34% or 480.00 points to 20,050.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 281 to 175 and 40 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.41% or 1.99 to $80.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.11% or 1.82 to hit $84.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 7.50 to trade at $1,936.50 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.10% to 4.09.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 102.95.
