Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.16%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 2.08% or 1,460.00 points to trade at 71,760.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 2.02% or 610.00 points to end at 30,830.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) was up 1.76% or 250.00 points to 14,480.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 3.71% or 17.70 points to trade at 459.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) declined 3.39% or 390.00 points to end at 11,120.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 3.11% or 119.00 points to 3,710.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 306 to 153 and 38 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.20% or 0.98 to $80.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.42% or 1.25 to hit $86.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 5.95 to trade at $1,934.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.36, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.11% to 3.66.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 101.71.
