Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.14%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 1.72% or 20 points to trade at 1182 at the close. Meanwhile, Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) added 1.58% or 690 points to end at 44350 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 1.53% or 160 points to 10630 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 3.11% or 283 points to trade at 8823 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 2.42% or 2390 points to end at 96500 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 2.27% or 500 points to 21500.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 325 to 158 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) rose to all time highs; rising 1.53% or 160 to 10630.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.78% or 0.52 to $66.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.42% or 0.29 to hit $69.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 4.25 to trade at $1785.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.44% to 3.2383, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 3.7938.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 93.110.
